Archer Review: Always be Berating and Belittling Free on klikvideo.com

I may have never been an Anthony Bourdain fan before, but after this week’s “Live and Let Dine,” I am now!  And like Archer, I might have to check out that world traveling show!

The Chef's Mission

Bourdain, who most recently has been on ABC’s The Taste, brought his signature attitude as Lance Casteau.  Even if Malory never got her wine pairing, Reed’s writing and Bourdain made a great duo.

Honestly, I could ramble for this entire interview how Bourdain has easily been my favorite bit guest voice on Archer.

But alas, I must briefly discuss our adventures to stop the Albanian assassination at the uber exclusive Sei e.  Unfortunately, since I know no Kennedys and am unwilling to give out any gun librarians handys, I’ll have to get my opinions like the other 2.8 million fans.  From our found footage / reality tv show episode.

The story was eerily like one my personal favorite Archer episodes, “Skytantic.” Sure, there was no Trudy Beekman to upstage, but there was an excellent meal for Malory to have.

Speaking of Malory, between her showdown with Jermain the fish and the flashback to her and Ron being throw out of Midnight Ron’s Carmen, my favorite newlyweds had me in stitches this week.

Archer, and his latest guy crush, Lance, were, of course, the focal point of the episode.  Sterling was great as he bossed around Cyril and demand he be called “chef” by everyone.  The mini Bourdain may be no better than Lance’s morning poos, but I still think the poor guy missed his true calling.

Oh and poor Lana and her competent self trying to stay on target during their fake, yet, again, real mission.  All the French in the world couldn’t get her out of phone duty.

Overall, even if it was a slightly recycled plotbit, it was another strong effort and continuing on a great season.  You know where to find our favorite Archer quotes from the episode.

But enough from me, I have to head off to Red Hook to go dumpster diving.  There’s a bumper! Leave me your thoughts in the comments.

‘Warehouse 13′ Season 4.5 Premiere Date Announced Free on klikvideo.com

Claudia, Artie, Myka, Pete and Leena - Warehouse 13

The popular Syfy series Warehouse 13 will be back with the rest of its current fourth season, 10 more new episodes folks!, starting on April 29 at 10 PM.

As viewers will recall, the last new episode of ‘Warehouse 13′ aired back on October 1 of last year, leaving fans with a mighty big cliffhanger. Artie (series regular Saul Rubinek), under the evil effects of going back in time to change dire circumstances that affected the warehouse and most of the team, released a deadly pandemic virus out of the Black Orchid artifact. As the first new episode back – entitled “The Living and the Dead” – gets underway, viewers will see “the team race to stop the spread of the disease while battling its symptoms”.

Yikes, to say the least, right?!!

The spring premiere will feature recurring guest star Polly Walker of ‘Caprica’ and ‘Rome’ fame as “a historian who may know more about the warehouse than she lets on” and the return of Kate Mulgrew (‘Star Trek Voyager’) and Jaime Murray (‘Ringer’), who is part of the cast for the new Syfy series ‘Defiance’ that will (not too ironically) act as the lead-in series to ‘Warehouse 13′.

The rest of the cast – Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Allison Scagliotti, Aaron Ashmore and CCH Pounder – will, of course, be “all-hands-on-deck” for what is to come as the show’s fourth season continues so make sure to tune in for the return of ‘Warehouse 13′ on April 29 at 10/9c on Syfy.

Castle Round Table: "Hunt" Free on klikvideo.com

Daddy issues and spy games abounded this week, as Castle concluded its suspenseful two-parter with “Hunt.

Below, our Round Table team of TV Fanatic writers Jim Garner, Chandel Charles, and Christine Orlando are joined by Castle fan Heather from The 12th Fan Forum as they decide if James Brolin hit the right mark as Castle’s long lost daddy and whether they prefer Bad Ass Beckett or Super Spy Castle.

——————————————-

What was your favorite scene?

Jim: I loved Kate reaching the end of her rope with the girlfriend and kicking her her over in her chair and then flinging the pictures at her. If for no other reason than she called Rick her “partner,” which I loved!

Chandel: Probably the sequence where we got to see father and son in action saving Alexis. It was nice to move beyond the father shocker quickly, but still have it flow seamlessly into the rest of the narrative.

Heather: The levity provided in the “Jackson Hunt/Sounds made up/It is” scene. That singular moment gave such insight into who Brolin’s character is & showed how the Castle apple did not fall far from the tree. Does this give a whole new meaning to the safeword now?

Christine: The homecoming. Yes, I’m a sap at heart. I loved that everyone was home safe and that Kate was no longer an outsider but a true part of the Castle celebration.  Knowing that Castle told them about his father made it even better… I just wish we could have witnessed him doing so.

Castle RT Logo

What did you think of James Brolin as Daddy Castle?

Jim: He was a great choice. He had a little bit of Rick’s sense of humor and all of his loyalty.

Chandel: Epic. I think it only appropriate that someone wildly famous be Castle’s father. We would not have been satisfied with anything less.

Heather: Perfecto! Ruggedly handsome? Check. Concerned parental figure? Check. Inadvertently responsible for son becoming a writer? Priceless! Plus, any concerns about future adverse affects on Castle/Alexis as a result of this situation were eliminated by the time the credits rolled.

Christine: I was worried that they couldn’t pull it off. I needn’t have been. James Brolin was perfect from the cocky wit to the loyalty and protectiveness, he hit all the right notes. Plus, he really is ruggedly handsome.

Will Rick ever see Jackson Hunt again?

Jim: I suspect we will. And the idea that Rick decided to be a writer based on a book handed to him by a father he didn’t know and then ended up doing spy novels when his dad is a spy? Mind. Blown

Chandel: Definitely. I think now that he has a name and a story, it’s much more likely he can be woven in somewhere in the future.

Heather: This episode was so well done that even if we/Rick do not see him again (but really? we MUST), Castle and Alexis can still be who they are – just with a little more confidence in their lineage.

Christine: The show did a great job of giving us answers but leaving the audience and Rick with plenty of questions. I know I want to see him back and I’m sure now that Castle knows a bit of the truth he’ll only want to find out the whole story.

Badass Beckett or Super Spy Castle? Which was your favorite?

Jim: I’m giving them both 11s. Rick was ama ing and, as I said above, Kate rocked it! Sorry, they both are my favorite.

Chandel: I think Super Spy Castle was pretty impressive. You could see both the writer and the pseudo-cop at work in Castle the entire episode and it was great.

Heather: What… no Awesome Alexis to complete the Castle ABCs? Tough choice and while Badass Beckett is always a favorite of mine, this time it’s Super Spy Castle that wins out.

Christine: Beckett blew me away in that interrogation scene yet Castle was completely awesome in the world of spies trying to get his little girl back. I honestly don’t think I can choose.

Where does this rate in the scheme of all of the two-parters?

Jim: At the top. From the introduction of Papa Castle to Kate telling Rick never to do something that stupid without her again, it was by far one of my favorite episodes ever.

Chandel: This one comes in second only to the Castle Season 3 two-parter.

Heather: Season 2′s “Tick/Boom” retains that honor for me, though “Target/Hun”t both run a VERY close second. Well done all around.

Christine: This hits the top of my list. It felt the most cohesive and had me holding my breath from beginning to end. I absolutely loved it.

Castle Round Table: "Hunt"

Nashville Recap: For He's a Jolly Good Fellow Free on klikvideo.com

Deacon is another year older, but it’s Juliette who comes across as much wiser in this week’s Nashville. When things don’t go exactly her way, the drama queen (surprisingly) takes it in stride and even shows evidence of growing as a human. It’s a Deacon-birthday miracle! Meanwhile, Music City turns out for Deke’s surprise party, Rayna hides from papara i and Gunnar gets some supremely bad news.

Let’s review the big developments in “Dear Brother.”

RELATED | Exclusive: Nashville Casts a Person of Interest as Deacon’s Enlightening Love Interest

TENNESEE-M | Teddy has moved out of the house, and Rayna swings by his office to inform him that — thanks to Maddie — she knows about his canoodling with Peggy. As she later tells Tandy, they filed for divorce in a different county to try to delay the media’s finding out, but the maga ine rack at the grocery store proves the folly of that belief: It’s filled with tabloid rags casting adulterous aspersions on both Rayna and Teddy. (Side note: Does that supermarket exist in some weird pocket in the space-time continuum where it’s constantly 1998? In this day and age, I can’t imagine the story wouldn’t break online first and that someone wouldn’t have alerted Rayna or her camp.) The papara i stalk RayRay, casual acquaintances make catty comments about her fidelity and not even the girls’ ballet class is safe from the press’ hounding ways. (Side note: Anyone else notice the cold shoulder Maddie gave her mom after rehearsal? Some kind of blame-assignation is brewing there, methinks – though little Daphne’s delivery of the “Teenagers!” comment made me laugh out loud).

Rayna holes up in her house and writes music, hoping that everything will just blow over. But a visit from Lamar boosts her spirits and her self-confidence (I know – a first for everything, eh?); he tells her she should fight back, because she’s done nothing wrong. “You may use your mother’s maiden name, but you’re still a Wyatt,” he reassures her, advising her to hold her head high. (Very nice work from Connie Britton and Powers Boothe in this scene.) Bolstered, she writes a new song and decides to debut it at the surprise birthday bash Juliette’s planned for Deacon.

THAT NOBODY CAN DENY | Even though Deacon’s preferred method of celebrating his birthday involves watching Old Yeller on VHS at home, Juliette decides that he needs a big blowout at the Bluebird. She enlists Scarlett’s help to lure him there (the scene where Ju rolls up in the SUV, along with Emily’s “Don’t be afraid,” was pretty great) and gives Deke’s niece and Gunnar the opening slot on the bill, albeit in her typical, self-aggrandi ing way: “You can say you opened up for Juliette Barnes.”

On the big day, Scarlett greets Deacon with a cupcake; he thinks it’s pretty cool when she shows him how to turn it into a sandwich. (Deke, if you liked that, I’ve got a Bu feed post that’s gonna blow your mind.) He says he’ll come see her and Gunnar play at the café’s open-mic that evening – of course, when he gets there, the place is packed with a ton of his pals wearing masks of his face. Nice touch, Ju. A bunch of famous folk (Vince Gill and Pam Tillis among them) are there, and when Scarlett and Gunnar perform “I Will Fall,” the room takes notice. Rayna, you’d better jump on signing those kids before one of your contemporaries does.

Despite his hatred for social gatherings, Juliette’s enthusiasm and his friends’ goodwill seem to help Deacon settle into the evening. So by the time Rayna shows up with Watty – in such a better mood that she even sasses one of the photographers on her way into the venue – he’s just happy to see her. If you’ve DVR’d the episode, re-watch their hug hello; I’m continually wowed at Britton and Charles Esten’s ability to pack so much history and feeling into such commonplace gestures. She performs a new song, “Stronger Than Me,” that is not exactly a party anthem but which speaks to their complicated history; to paraphrase (and clean up) a term from Wedding Crashers, they eye-shag the socks off each other the entire time she’s on stage. Afterward, she apologi es for his finding out about the divorce from the press. “I wanna do right by you,” she says, holding his hand for a moment before she leaves.

LATER, WAGON | Jolene’s home from rehab and working with an addiction counselor, but aside from footing the bill, Juliette doesn’t want to have much of a role in her mom’s continuing journey. Still, things seem to be slightly better between the Barnes women; the party is actually Jolene’s idea, and Juliette brings her to the celebration. But when champagne is passed around for a toast, it’s all over.

Emily alerts Juliette to her mom’s inebriated state, and the young singer decides to bring her home herself, forfeiting a turn to sing for Deacon. What’s more, she doesn’t even unload on her poor, slipped-up mom who tearfully apologi es for ruining not only that evening but Juliette’s ninth birthday, too. By the time the counselor arrives, Jolene’s asleep, but Juliette agrees to chat. She tells him what he already knows: Juliette’s ninth birthday party went kaput when her mom spent the budget on drugs and then nearly torched the house after falling asleep with a lit cigarette in her hand. “I put it out, but the truth is, I wanted her to die,” she says softly. “You really think you can help us?” The counselor responds, “I do.”

OH BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? | Early in the episode, Gunnar and Scarlett discover Jason’s gun. Gunnar runs off to confront his brother, who insists he needs the weapon to protect himself from his enemies. Gunny flings the sidearm into the river and swears he’s done with his sibling. Cut to much later, when two cops show up at Deacon’s party and ask Gunnar to come with them to ID a body: It’s Jason, who was beaten to death and found in an alley. Gunnar sobs. I want to feel bad for him, but much like Juliette’s ex-hubby, Jason was around for such a short time that I barely feel like I knew him – and what I did know, I didn’t love – so it’s hard to feel much of anything about his absence. Gunnar, of course, is feeling a lot… of Scarlett, that is. When he comes home after being gone all night, his news impels her to kiss him, then straddle him, then grief-sex him with abandon. At least you died for a good cause, Jase.

POLITICS, A PUT AND A POOCH | Teddy’s people are telling him to stay away from Peggy because it just doesn’t look good, so he does the exact opposite and holds a press conference to announce she’s joining his office as a financial consultant. I’ll go with Rayna on this one: “Unbelievable.” Heady with power, Teddy turns down Lamar’s suggestions for mayoral appointments and instead invites Coleman – who’s still solidly “Team Rayna,” ha! – to be his deputy mayor. Though I am shouting “Flee, Coleman, flee!” at the TV, he agrees.

Avery gets an expensive guitar, gets nonsense advice from Watty, gets shut out of Deacon’s party, gets a shock at seeing Scarlett and Gunnar perform from outside and eventually gets some sense – or so his returning of  the pricey instrument would seem to imply.

The day after his bash, Deacon comes home to find Emily sitting on his front steps with a big box: his gift from Juliette. Inspired by his description of Old Yeller as a tale of devotion between a boy and his dog, she’s gotten him a Young Yeller of his own. Emily hustles the canine into its new owner’s arms and takes off and… I’m sorry, but Deacon is holding a puppy and I am dying of the cuteness. Can’t function. Good thing the recap’s done, eh?

Now it’s your turn. What do you think of Rayna’s new song? Do you think Deacon will keep his pup? And can anything good come from Teddy crossing his soon-to-be-former father-in-law? Sound off in the comments!

Hong Kong Disneyland Gets Marvel Section Free on klikvideo.com

It looks like we’ll finally see a much bigger Marvel presence at Disneyland – Hong Kong Disneyland that is. Ever since Disney bought Marvel, we’ve been waiting for greater movement on tying the two together via Disney’s huge them park brand, and there are rumors of plenty of big plans in the works, but nothing had been announced until now.

The Hollywood Reporter says the announcement about the Marvel section at Hong Kong Disneyland was made by the city’s financial chief, John Tsang Chun-wah (Hong Kong Disneyland is 52 percent owned by the city’s government), who said it would be, “the first of its kind in the world” and would launch in “the coming few years.”

The Walking Dead Season 4 begins production in May

Today, AMC confirmed what most fans of The Walking Dead were pretty certain of already: Glen Ma ara’s righthand man Scott Gimple will take over as showrunner and executive producer when the show’s 16- episode fourth season begins production May 6. The new season will premiere in October.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 showrunner Scott Gimple

“Scott has been an essential part of this show since he came aboard at the very beginning of season two. He’s contributed to guiding this show in a substantial way that has resulted in a lot of the key scenes and storylines fans have dubbed signature moments of The Walking Dead,” said the show’s creator Robert Kirkman in today’s press release. “I am thrilled to begin work on a brand new season of The Walking Dead with Scott at the helm, and I truly believe we could be embarking on what will be the best season of this show yet.”

And Gimple’s not the only guy who moved up in the TWD ranks. The show’s Emmy-winning special effects and makeup guru Greg Nicotero, who has proven himself a man of many talents on the series, has been promoted to executive producer, along with producer Tom Luse.

“Scott’s voice has been an integral one since he joined the show,” said Joel Stillerman, AMC’s EVP of original programming, production and digital content, in the same statement. “Greg Nicotero is a true artist whose work is simply brilliant. And Tom Luse has really created the machine that allows this very large show to get made week to week. We congratulate all three in their new roles on the series and look forward to ramping up production on Season 4.”

“I’m thrilled to continue the tradition of the spectacular, cinematic, horrifying, exciting and emotional storytelling of The Walking Dead,” said Gimple, who has crafted some of the show’s most jaw-dropping episode’s including Season 2′s midseason finale “Pretty Much Dead Already” that revealed the heartbreaking fate of Carol’s daughter Sophia. “I’m a huge fan of the comics, and started with the show on the other side of the set, as an avid viewer. Over the past two years, it’s been an incredible privilege making such great television with the best cast and crew I’ve ever worked with. I can’t wait to make some more.”

Nicotero  — who also handled special makeup effects for the Quentin Tarantino hits Kill Bill, Grindhouse and Inglorious Basterds — and his team scored back to back Emmys  in 2011 and 2012 for their work on The Walking Dead. A few weeks back, Nicotero also told a throng of fans in Milwaukee how much he enjoys the opportunity to direct some episodes, as well, including last Sunday’s outing in which Andrea finally ventured to the prison — and oh-so-vivdly performed oral surgery on a ombie with a rock and her boot heel.

Luse, who has been with The Walking Dead since its inception, is based in Atlanta and helms the day-to-day production of the series.

New Season 3 episodes of The Walking Dead premiere Sunday nights at 9/8CT on AMC.

American Idol Recap: It Moves Us All, Through Despair and Hope Free on klikvideo.com

Cue your local locust swarm and saddle up the proverbial four horses, American Idol fans: The end times are definitely nigh!

How else to explain oanette Johnson being named by the show’s rebooted judges’ panel as one of the 10 most promising unsigned female singers in the country? Yes, oanette Johnson, the same chick whose tattered, Season 12 audition cover of “The Star Spangled Banner” caused Keith Urban to literally fall out of his chair — and was punctuated by an alarming booty drop.

Honestly, is it time to put down the remote control and pick up the Book of Revelations? Or could one of the following theories explain the judges’ thinking:

A) Nigel Lythgoe made sure the microprint in Keith, Nicki and Mariah’s contracts allowed him to override their common sense and good taste at least three times per season. (He is, after all, producing a TV show.)

B) By virtue of his 11 previous seasons on the panel, Randy’s vote counts for double — allowing him carte blanche approval on various contestants, no matter how aggressively Nicki throws her side-eye (see accompanying screengrab). (Let’s hear it for the girl, girl, girl!)

C) The judges deliberately chose to advance a few cannon-fodder contestants into next week’s Top 20, thereby ensuring speed-dialing Idol voters will advance their true chosen pets.

D) At the end of Thursday’s telecast, the judges will give a reprieve to all five women who got axed tonight, send five additional male contestants to the guillotine, and give us a gender-imbalanced, 15-chica/5-niño semifinal round. (MAKE THIS HAPPEN, @Di yFeet!)

E) oanette was put here on this Earth to disprove the old adage that you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

F) Somebody spiked the Coke cups.

Me? I’m going with some combination of A, C, F, and E — no, oanette wasn’t good in a note-hitting kind of way, but she definitely made me feel…something (though by morning I could just attribute it to indigestion).

Anyhow, let’s cut to the set list for the second “sudden death” episode of Idol‘s 12th season — along with my letter grades for every performance:

Melinda Ademi: Jessie J’s “Nobody’s Perfect” | Grade: C+

Candice Glover: Aretha Franklin’s “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” | Grade: B+

Juliana Chahayed: Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” | Grade: A-

Jett Hermano: Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In The World)” | Grade: B-

Cristabel Clack: Alicia Keys’s “No One” | Grade: B-

Aubrey Cleland: Beyoncé’s “Sweet Dreams” | Grade: B

Rachel Hale: Grace Potter And The Nocturnals’ “Nothing But The Water” | Grade: B

Breanna Steer: Ja mine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows” | Grade: A-

Janelle Arthur: Lady Antebellum’s “Just a Kiss” | Grade: B-

oanette Johnson: Elton John’s “Circle Of Life” | Grade: C+

And with that, I’ll be back overnight to update this post with full reviews for every contestant — bookmark, refresh, and enjoy! — but until then, let me turn things over to you. What did you think of the third Vegas round of American Idol Season 12? What did you think of the judges’ decisions? Who was your favorite? Did Juliana get robbed? Did oanette commit a robbery? Or are you warming to her particular brand of cray-cray? Dead to Rights” had a bit of everything to entertain the audience this week. There was a nice dose of Slade on the island, a generous helping of father/son angst with Tommy and Malcolm and sneaky hints at the proposal of a Canary sighting coming to Starling City. What else? Let’s check it out.

Malcolm in Trouble

Alright. I’ve had it. I’m done with Detective Lance. Absolutely finished. The Hood called him to tell him there was a hitman out to kill someone high profile the next day, requested his men put someone on it and his answer was to enlist McKenna to aid him in taking down the vigilante. At that moment my wish was for the blind dude hired by China White and his refreshed eyes (an assumption) to shoot at Malcolm and take down Det. Lance. Just kill him already. He is not worth my time. I had to get that out.

Two interesting things happened relative to DC Comics Green Arrow canon tonight. First was the reference Laurel made to the canary her sister was given by her father and the second was the introduction of Dinah Lance. In the comics, Laurel was passed the helm of the Black Canary from her mother, Dinah. And, waddya know, mom gave her a ring during the episode. Alex Kingston (ER, and most recently of Doctor Who) was cast as mama Lance, and she made her first appearance by knocking on Laurel’s door with the news that Sarah may be alive.

What?! In the comics, Laurel had no sister, so it’s possible some of her birth story might be mish-mashed with Sarah’s to make a complete character, and one who will take over for her mother. I am merely theori ing, of course, but it would flesh out the family history a bit more and tie Sarah into the lore. After tonight, I have no doubt they’re fully intending to explore the Black Canary with either mama or daughter originating the thematic character.

With Dinah’s supposition that Sarah is alive, that might mean she has been in the super hero business, and is ready and willing to pass the torch to her daughter. We do know, from the kick-ass scene in “Betrayal” when Laurel’s only trouble with Cyrus Vanch’s henchmen turned out to be an aversion to tasers, that she’s ready for the job.

At the heart of the episode was the relationship between Oliver and Tommy and their respective fathers. While Tommy still struggled to find some sort of common ground with Malcolm, Oliver expressed his deep anger with his own father, but admitted he’d give anything to have him back in his life. It’s really hard to understand, while you still have a chance to rectify things – even if you don’t think you’ll ever take it – that one day that opportunity will cease to exist. Tommy almost lost his chance to forgive and get to know his dad.

When the hit on Malcolm was in progress, Tommy got to see a different side of his dad. He was dumbfounded at his father’s ability to fight and just as Malcolm opened the door to reveal his secret as the Dark Archer to his son, he was shot.

Even though I predicted something would happen to Malcolm because I expect Tommy to eventually be pitted against Oliver a la Peter Parker and Harry Osborn in Spider-Man, I still didn’t imagine it would be quite as violent as it was, and I never expected it would lead to the conclusion it did.

Oliver revealed himself to Tommy:

Tommy: Why should I trust you?
Oliver: Because you always have.
Tommy: Oliver. | permalink

We ran into a little snag after that, because when Tommy asked Oliver if he’ll ever tell him what happened to him on the island, he said no. No. Not maybe or some day – a flat out no. As much as Tommy trusts Oliver, and is no doubt grateful for saving Malcolm’s life, something tells me that “no” will pound away at him. Each time Malcolm talks to him, he’ll question what he knows and believes and since Oliver won’t fully share with him, and has told him that, he’ll start to side with his father, who he’ll start to trust.

Thoughts on that?

A few more things to mention:

  • Felicity is in the gang for good, it seems. She’s taking combat lessons from Diggle and continuing to verbally spar with the boys. It’s so refreshing!

  • The island scenes didn’t add too much to the overarching theme of the night, but Slade was good for more noteworthy Arrow quotes. Every time he opens his mouth, gold slips out. I can only hope that he makes it to Starling City soon and that his wit has remained in tact!

  • The romantic path with McKenna just isn’t cutting it. There is no spark between her and Oliver. When I thought she would be an Arrow ally, I was excited for her arrival on screen. Now? She’s just a barrier between Oliver and someone he can really relate to.

Suit up and hit the comments. Did this week shine as the promos promised? Post away!

PARADE’S END (HBO) (4)

HBO’s new mini-series PARADE’S END premiered yesterday and continues today with part 2 at 9:00-11:05 p.m. The Final part will air tomorrow THURSDAY, FEB. 28 (9:00-10:00 p.m.) on HBO.

Synopsis: From the reliable comforts of Edwardian England to the chaos and destruction of the First World War, the early 20th century was a defining era in history, a time of unprecedented change, when old certainties were being torn down. The long golden afternoons of the pre-war years would be shattered by the most destructive war the world had ever known, and countless lives would be changed forever. Set against this backdrop of impending catastrophe is the story of English aristocrat Christopher Tietjens, trapped in a marriage to an unfaithful wife, and caught between his commitment to the values of Toryism and his unspoken love for a fearless young suffragette.

Spanning the glittering, shallow world of London high society, the trench-scarred battlefields of France, and the breathtaking English countryside, the sweeping five-part HBO Miniseries presentation PARADE’S END debuts TUESDAY, FEB. 26 (9:00-11:05 p.m. ET/PT), WEDNESDAY, FEB. 27 (9:00-11:05 p.m.) and THURSDAY, FEB. 28 (9:00-10:00 p.m.), exclusively on HBO. Adapted from Ford Madox Ford’s groundbreaking novels by Sir Tom Stoppard (Oscar-winner for “Shakespeare in Love”), the drama was directed by Susanna White (HBO’s Emmy-winning “Generation Kill”).

Talking with Stephen Baldwin Celebrity Apprentice 2013 Free on klikvideo.com

Talking with Stephen Baldwin Celebrity Apprentice 2013

For Stephen Baldwin Celebrity Apprentice 2013 — the All-Star competition — required a game plan. All-Star Celebrity Apprentice premieres on NBC Sunday, March 3.Early this year we enjoyed breakfast with the youngest Baldwin at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, where he had plenty to share about the new season and growing up Baldwin.

He's An All-Star — Stephen Baldwin Celebrity Apprentice 2013

“What day is it today?” Baldwin says when asked how frequently the Baldwin boys get together. “Well in five days I’m driving from New York City — just me and Alec — five hours to Syracuse to go see our mother. So that will be a fantastic therapy session.”

His mother, age 83, is a breast cancer survivor and is one of the motivating forces behind his return to All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, as he plays for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. In between bites of breakfast, Baldwin says that the second go-round at the game was far more difficult than the first.

“There are some people who frustrated me on how good they were at playing the game,” he says. “Dee Snider frustrated me. He’s a bit of a chameleon. You think it’s just Dee being Dee. Dee. Dee. But there’s a method to his madness.”

As for the boardroom, that’s the worst. “The boardroom is hell because it’s people who have been there before. You can try and be ethical and respectful and all of a sudden someone cold-face lies. … And Mr. Trump is no help. He loves it. The sooner you can throw somebody under the bus, the better.”

Did Stephen Baldwin win All-Star Celebrity Apprentice 2013? That he couldn’t tell us. Although Baldwin shares that he did do “pretty well” this season, despite getting thrown under the bus a few times. “I have some tread marks on my back here,” he points. “Dennis Rodman threw me under the bus over his interpretation of my involvement in a task. … Dee Snider threw me under the bus.” Baldwin grabs my recorder and brings it closer to his mouth. “Wasn’t very nice, Dee.”

EXTRA: WHAT IT TOOK FOR TRACE ADKINS TO RETURN TO “CELEBRITY APPRENTICE”

But when it comes to the game, the men always seem to look less catty and deceitful than the women. “I think it’s because men are wimpier than women. And you can quote me on that,” he laughs. “You’re talking to a man who’s been married for 23 years and lives in a house with two teenage daughters. The only other male presence in my house is a Pomeranian. I’m outnumbered.”

Luckily, he’s not outnumbered this time around when it comes to men vs. women. Along with Baldwin, the colorful roster of fan favorites consists of Trace Adkins, Gary Busey, Marilu Henner, Penn Jillette, Lil Jon, Omarosa, Lisa Rinna, La Toya Jackson, Claudia Jordan, Bret Michaels, Brande Roderick, Dennis Rodman and Dee Snider.

“I shouldn’t say this, but who survives and who doesn’t, and when and where that all happens, is going to shock a lot of people,” Baldwin says.

Here’s What Some Of The Other All-Stars Had To Share On The New Season …

Lisa Rinna: “Women can be bitchy. Let’s just say that.”

Omarosa:
“Jon had to break up all the fights between me and cra y-ass La Toya Jackson.”

Gary Busey:
“The volatile conflict I have is with myself. If you want to see your worst enemy, look in the mirror.”

Trace Adkins:
“I don’t think I’ve ever learned anything doing this show that I’ve used anywhere else.”

Marilu Henner:
“It’s a pressure cooker.”

Lil Jon: “
I can’t go nowhere without a 70-plus-year-old woman coming up to me saying, ‘You did so good on The Apprentice.’”
