Ri oli & Isles was up, Perception was down and TNT was left with a mixed bag of results last night about two summer premieres.
The Ri oli & Isles Season 4 opener garnered 6.6 million total viewers, with 1.8 million of those landing in the coveted advertiser demographic of 18-49-year olds. That’s an increase of 18 percent and 20 percent, respectively, in those areas from last year’s premiere.
Conversely, the first episode of Perception Season 2 fared much worse than last year’s pilot.
It drew 4 million viewers total, one million in the targeted demographic. The former represents a drop of 1.6 million viewers from last year’s premiere.
