HBO have released the first teaser for True Detective, their upcoming new crime series. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson star as two detectives investigating a murder in a story that spans the course of 17 years, from 1995-2012. True Detective will consist of eight episodes and the plan is for each season to be about a completely different investigation, with different characters, should the show continue.
