Netflix Orders ‘Sense8′ From The Wachowskis’ Free on klikvideo.com

Netflix has picked up the series Sense8 from the Andy and Lana Wachowskis, the creative sister and brother behind such films as ‘The Matrix’, ‘Cloud Atlas’ and the upcoming Warner Bros.’ project ‘Jupiter Ascending’ with actors Tatum Channing (Magic Mike) and Mila Kunis (O : The Great and Powerul).

The sibling’s latest project is a sci-fi thriller, according to Entertainment Weekly, that has been described as “a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted.” Netflix has ordered ten episodes of the series that is slated to premiere late next year on the video-on-demand service. Babylon 5’s J. Michael Strac ynski will serve as show runner of the series.

The premise behind the sibling’s first ever television venture was developed after the two were talking late one night “several years ago” about the pros and cons of technology. “Out of that paradox ‘Sense8’ was born,” the creators said in a statement.

The ‘Sense8’ series joins Netflix’s slate of blossoming original content such as Jenji Kohan’s (Weeds) ‘Orange is the New Black’, ‘Hemlock Grove’ and the resurrected comedy ‘Arrested Development’ that will debut this coming summer.
