Psych Season 7 Review “No Country For Two Old Men” – Henry and Lloyd’s Mexican Adventure Free on klikvideo.com

Psych Season 7 Episode 4 No Country For Two Old Men

In this episode of Psych, called “No Country For Two Old Men,” Shawn’s dad and Juliet’s stepdad end up having a wild adventure as their kids do everything they can to keep them safe.

I know this episode was basically about Henry and Lloyd, but before I talk about them, I just have to say a few words about the opening scene. Shawn and Juliet took the big step to decide to move in together and now they’ve already moved in and had a housewarming party. Am I the only one that thought something would happen to make all of that go a little slower? But yay, they finally did it and wow, what an ama ing house they have. Judging by the conversation that Henry and Lloyd had on the docks, everyone is assuming that Shawn and Juliet will be married soon, but I have a feeling that step will take a bit longer for them to take.

As for the dads, their entire adventure was pretty hilarious. I loved that Lloyd started out being this boring, nerdy guy and turned out to be a boring, nerdy guy with a cra y past and a penchant for getting himself (and his friends) into lots of trouble. The Mexican version of Lassie was funny too, though I’m proud to say that I never liked him as much as the real Lassie and also never really trusted. Ha! Take that for trying to emulate the great Lassiter (yeah, I know he wasn’t trying to emulate him, but whatever).

My favorite bits..

Lassie giving Shawn and Juliet a set of throwing knives that could also be used for carving animal flesh. That Lassie, always thinking ahead.

“Giant clown gloves! Finally a housewarming gift we can actually use.”

“Gus, don’t be the remake of ‘Yours, Mine and Ours.’ For that matter don’t be the original either.”

“They grow up so fast don’t they?”

“You met him a week ago.”

Shawn coming up with various names to call him and Juliet. Great way to work “Shules” into the show.

After all that, Henry forgetting the number of the box.

Spanish version of the theme song = Awesomesauce.

Lloyd pointing out that the men couldn’t chase them because he had stolen their car. Well, that’s one way to keep the bad guys off your trail.

“Give me one reason why I shouldn’t punch you in the face.”

“Glass jaw. Winning smile. Please don’t.”

Finding out that Juliet knew all about Lloyd’s little gambling problem.

“I don’t want to be the black Von Trapps, I want to be I Am Legend.”

Henry finding out that Lloyd had never actually landed a plane before. Gulp.

Juliet, Shawn and Gus driving up with a bunch of chickens on her car.

“You already told us that in the car, Jules.”

“Well, I need to cover my bases, Gus.” – Loved that.

Gus’ super-sniffer picking up on the sopapillas.

Haha, that guy totally IS the Mexican version of Lassiter. But I like the original better.

Henry continuously tossing shovelfuls of dirt in Lloyd’s grave.

Shawn pointing out that though things were grim with their dads digging their own graves and all; the henchmen were also doing the cabbage patch.

The entire “who goes in which grave” conversation.

Mexican Lassie may have saved them, but he will never be better than the original in my eyes.

Aha! I knew it! I knew I had a reason not to like Mexican Lassie.

“Man, you have a serious problem.”

“I know!”

Gus and Jules comforting each other as they cried over Lloyd.

Lloyd casually answering Shawn when he called his name.

Gus’ happy dance at finding out that he wasn’t so much a “dad,” as the “friend building a shelving unit.”

Henry and Lloyd going fishing together. Aw. But, yeah, Henry was definitely smart to wear a bullet-proof vest.

What did you think of this episode of Psych? How much fun was it to watch Lloyd and Henry have their own little adventure together? What did you think of Shawn and Juliet’s house?
