Simon Cowell has spoken.
The X Factor producer confirmed yesterday that Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland will come on board Season 3 of his Fox singing competition, replacing Britney Spears and L.A. Reid and joining him and Demi Lovato on the panel.
Saying he’s “delighted” with the selections, Cowell added in a statement: “It just feels like the time to do something different.”
Rubio has judged Mexico’s version of The Voice, while Rowland has done the same for the British X Factor.
Already in the taunting spirit that defines the show – much to the chagrin of many viewers – Rubio announced of her casting: “Simon, be careful what you wish for. Let’s see if you are ready to handle me, empie a la fiesta, amigo!”
