Supernatural’s eighth season went out on a high note with some game changing twists and great performances. Plus, they continued the tradition of using “Carry On Wayward Son” at the beginning; that never fails to get the season finale started on the right note.
Crowley kicked things off with the continuation of his plan to kill people that Sam and Dean had saved in the past. This time his potential victim was the likable recurring character of Sheriff Mills. The sheriff’s past relationship with Bobby and the Winchesters made her a prime candidate for Crowley to attack. It was both sad and amusing to watch her get fooled by Crowley’s performance as a fake perfect blind date.
