Black Sails has set course for Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego.
Star will hold a special pilot episode screening of their upcoming Michael Bay-produced pirate drama at Comic-Con on Thursday, July 18th. The fans only event will also feature a few special guests that have yet to be announced.
Set 20 years before Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island, Black Sails is the tale of Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) and his men’s adventures on the high seas and at home as they fight to preserve the criminal stronghold of New Providence Island in the waning days of pirates. Among the Captain’s crew is a young version of the soon-to-be infamous John Silver (Luke Arnold). The rest of the cast includes rival Captain Charles Vane ( ach McGowan), smuggler Eleanor Guthrie (Hannah New) and the “cold-blooded” Anne Bonny (Clara Paget), among others.
