New Arrested Development Clip! Free on klikvideo.com

Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwit is working to keep his secrets when it comes to the new episodes premiering on May 26th on Netflix, but now the public can see the first new clip from the show in seven years. This clip was first shown to press back in January, and Hurwit noted it actually won’t even be included in one of the episodes – it’s an outtake.

Regardless, it’s pretty ama ing to see the Bluths back in action, as Lucille (Jessica Walter) manages to get around the fact that she’s not supposed to be smoking in her apartment, with the help of eternal mama’s boy, Buster (Tony Hale).

Once Upon a Time Season 2 Review “The Evil Queen” – Addicted to Vengeance Free on klikvideo.com

Once Upon a Time Season 2 Episode 20 The Evil Queen (3)

Accepting yourself for who you are isn’t always easy, and it’s even harder when everyone in the world hates the person you’ve become. Regina faced this reality in “The Evil Queen,” this week’s episode of Once Upon a Time, when she overheard Snow and Charming’s plan to give her a choice between staying in Storybrooke or returning to the Enchanted Forest for a lifetime of imprisonment. Never one to lie down and take it, Regina decided to destroy all the magic beanstalks, save for the one she’s cultivating behind glass at her house. How much do you want to bet that one comes back to bite in her in the end?

Regina is, without a doubt, the most complex character on the show, so I always love episodes that explore her layers. As it turns out, she didn’t always wear the title of Evil Queen with pride; in fact, she used magic to go undercover in her own kingdom to see why no one would help her kill Snow White. What she found was that not only did everyone, even her own soldiers, hate her, but that the one person who could see her good side was Snow White herself.

At least until Snow stumbled across a village Regina had ordered massacred and decided that Regina was beyond all help or care. Another thing I love about the show is the very complicated relationship between these two women. It’s not petty jealousy that drives Regina’s hatred of Snow. In fact, I sometimes wonder if she really does hate her stepdaughter, or if Snow was right about her just seeking an outlet for her pain. Regina was certainly very interested in finding out if Snow could forgive her. Conversely, does Snow really hate Regina, or does she feel guilty that her innocent actions turned Regina into a villain? Could she possibly need Regina’s forgiveness, not just for the stable boy’s death, but for Cora’s? Could granting that forgiveness be the key to Regina’s redemption?

How will Snow feel when she finds out that Greg and Tamara have captured Regina and neutered her magic? It’s one thing for the Enchanted Forest to bring Regina to justice; quite another for these people to do so in the name of science. Or whatever their cause is. At least Emma and Henry are on the case. Perhaps Emma will save her world not by defeating the forces of evil that already existed, but by fighting off this new, powerful enemy. It’s officially no longer a coincidence that Greg’s last name is Mendel. Magic versus science. The ultimate showdown?

Either way, you have to think that Hook’s speech about revenge (before he reali ed that his crocodile was still alive) is pretty much the key to the whole show. Love versus revenge. Too bad he didn’t take the lesson to heart and joined up with Greg and Tamara as soon as he spotted Gold and Belle walking and laughing together.

Oh! And Maleficent survived Emma’s assault from last season! At least, she did until Hook got thrown into her pit as Regina retrieved some sort of key that is now, unfortunately, in Greg and Tamara’s possession. Let’s hope whatever he did to escape didn’t succeeding in destroying her anymore than Charming’s blade did. Maleficent deserves better.

And while I have you here, did anyone else catch Snow’s line about learning to hunt from a man from another forest. Are we going to see Robin Hood again soon? I sure hope so.

Revenge Recap: The Falcon Crests Free on klikvideo.com

This Sunday on Revenge, Emily and Nolan use the Falcon-forged record of Victoria’s abortion to smoke out the hacker that they hold responsible for fabricating evidence against David, getting Padma killed and also global warming. (Okay, maybe not that last one.) But the revelation of her identity – she’s just some chick named Edith – and subsequent arrest pale in comparison to what they have in store for Victoria.

TRUE LIES | Thinking that she’s covered her tracks, Victoria is ready to “admit” during a Nightline interview that she terminated a pregnancy while a teenager. Unfortunately, thanks to our scheme team, what Juju Chang actually wants to know is, didn’t the ice queen give up a six-month-old boy named Patrick so she could accept an art scholarship? Busted, Victoria confesses, then offers Nolan his company back if he’ll help her find the son she abandoned. (She doesn’t even seem fa ed by the fact that he spends most of the episode dressed like the Mad Hatter!)

RETURN ENGAGENT | In the middle of that same eventful Q&A session, Daniel prompts Juju to ask Emily whether they’ll be tying the knot. (Punk move, bro. Not cool.) Later, he gives his ex-fiancee an engagement ring, which Aiden puts on her finger. “Marry the son-of-a-bitch,” he says (literally), adding (almost literally), “Then, hurry up and ruin his family, divorce his sorry ass and marry me, alright?”

STRANGE BEDFELLOWS | Jack is so peeved over Emily’s reunion with Daniel that he fires her as Carl’s godmother. (Who knew you could even do that?!) Meanwhile, his new coconspirator, Ashley, is busy getting herself rehired by Conrad by offering him photographic proof that she knows he’s been secretly meeting with the Governor’s wife (who just happens to be a former member of True Blood’s Vampire Authority).

GIRLS GONE WILD | Remember Regina, the girl Charlotte decked at the masquerade ball? All it takes is a coupla lines about their shared interest in suicide – Charlotte tried it, Regina’s brother succeeded at it – and suddenly, they’re BFFs. After Regina encourages Charlotte to “embrace [her] inner bad girl,” she even blows off a date with Declan to make out with her gal pal on the Revenge version of TM .

Okay, your turn. What did you think of the episode? Were you surprised that the Falcon wasn’t Marco but somebody random? Who would you cast as Patrick? Hit the comments!

The Big C Hereafter: 7 Reasons to Watch Free on klikvideo.com

Dying and death are topics typically reserved for A Very Special Episode of a particular series.

But Showtime’s The Big C is a drama that, from the very start, has built its foundation on these frightening/sad/troubling subjects.

And it kicks off its final run of four episodes tonight with the opener of The Big C: Hereafter, a premiere that is guaranteed to deliver laughter, tears and reflection for all viewers.

Will Laura Linney’s Cathy Jamison get her life in order as her cancer continues to wreak havoc on her body? How will her family react to what she goes through? And will she triumph in the end? Here is are seven reasons why you should grab some Kleenex and tune in…

——————————————-

Bow Down To Laura Linney Watching this ama ing actress play the highs and lows of Cathy Jamison is a marvel. Gabriel Basso – who plays her teenage son, Adam – said of working with Linney: “I was able to learn from her, watching her get into character, and her preparation….she is soooo real. It’s hard, when you are a kid actor, opposite someone so talented, to not be drawn in to their moment. She stretched my ability, and helped me a lot.”

Comedy/Drama Blend The subject may be heavy, but the final episodes are filled with hilarious moments. Executive Producer Jenny Bicks explained to me: “When you’re facing tragedy, there’s a lot of comedy right up against it so it wasn’t like we were going to be losing the comedy. We were just going to be bringing it in a little more in certain moments that were going to be tense moments, but we always have that in the series.”

New Lease On Life John Benjamin Hickey (Sean, Cathy’s brother) is grateful they had these last episodes to wrap up the story: “Showtime gave us a new lease on life because we thought that our third season might very well be our last season and we all tried our best to make peace with that.” Hickey added that he and everyone involved “went into it with an enormous amount of gratitude to Showtime and David Nevins [President of Entertainment at the network] for giving us the opportunity to kind of tie it all together.”

More Than Cathy’s Story “It’s not just something happening to that person,” Bicks said. “It affects all of the relationships around them. Everybody has to grow and shift to accommodate what’s happening, and so we knew that as much as it was the story about Cathy dealing with her mortality, it was also going to be how do these other figures deal with impending death?” My personal favorite? How Sean, Cathy’s bi-polar brother, deals with her possible death in these episodes.

Great Guest Stars Watch for Alan Alda’s to return as Cathy’s curmudgeonly doctor; Kathy Najimy as Cathy’s therapist; Isaac Mi rahi as himselfl and we’ll finally meet Cathy and Sean’s estranged father, played by Brian Dennehy.

Live Or Die? No spoilers here as far as whether Cathy makes it or not. But everyone in the cast – Linney, Hickey, Basso, Oliver Platt and Gabourey Sidibe – get their time to shine and, trust me on this, the storylines and the show are wrapped up in a fashion that honors the series as a whole.

Not The End The show may be wrapping up but there are oodles of other projects coming for show’s talented actors. Linney, for example, will star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch The Fifth Estate, which is the story of Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.  Hickey is the comatose lead in the CW pilot Blink and expects to appear in the film version of the Tony-winning The Normal Heart. Basso is on the big screen in the Sundance hit, Kings Of Summer, which comes out May 31st.

The Big C: Hereafter begins airing tonight at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
