Summary: Danny, Jo and Lacey go on a road trip in order to uncover new clues to Regina’s murder.
The Last Episode As Green Grove prepares for the annual Fall Festival, the town residents are at odds over whether Danny should be allowed at the Festival. When Danny shows up, tensions escalate into a riot, which Kyle has to quell. Green Grove’s Mayor Rollins chastises Kyle about the lagging case and Jo’s increasing involvement with Danny. Father and daughter find it increasingly difficult to see eye to eye when Jo questions the significance of the necklace in the murder investigation. Lacey also wonders about the necklace and approaches Regina’s mother, Gloria, for information. Meanwhile, Jo and Rico’s friendship is strained as Jo spends more and more time with Danny.
The new ABC Family original series Twisted is a one-hour drama full of twists and turns. Danny Desai, a charismatic 16-year-old with a troubled past, returns to his hometown after spending five years in juvenile detention. Immediately branded an outcast, Danny attempts to reconnect with his two childhood best friends Jo and Lacey, who are unsure how to respond. When a fellow student is found dead in her home, Danny instantly becomes the prime suspect and town spirals into a frenzy of suspicion. Jo and Lacey must decide if their childhood friend is unforgivable, or if he’s really a victim being persecuted for his own twisted secrets.
