Based on a web series of the same name, Comedy Central’s new half-hour comedy Drunk History pairs inebriated storytellers with A-list talent to reenact some of history’s greatest moments. Drunk History takes viewers across the country as stars like Jack Black, Michael Cera, Will Forte, Bill Hader, Stephen Merchant, Chris Parnell, Aubrey Pla a, Winona Ryder, Horatio San , Jason Schwart man, Adam Scott, Kristen Wiig, Fred Willard, and Luke and Owen Wilson bring history — as explained by drunken comedians — to life.


In the premiere episode (Tuesday, July 9, at 10pm ET/PT) “Washington, D.C.,” Woodward and Bernstein investigate the Watergate scandal, actors/brothers Edwin and John Wilkes Booth feud, and Elvis meets President Nixon at the White House. Guest stars include Jack Black, Dave Grohl and Bob Odenkirk.


In “Chicago” (July 16, 10pm ET/PT) Al Capone gets destroyed by an unlikely enemy, prairie lawyer Abraham Lincoln gets a huge break, and the police go to war with protestors during the Haymarket Riot. Guest starring Ike Barinholt , Joe Lo Truglio, Matt Besser.


In “Atlanta” (July 23, 10pm ET/PT) John Pemberton invents Coca-Cola from wine and cocaine, the FBI tries to take down Martin Luther King Jr ., and Stetson Kennedy infiltrates the Ku Klux Klan. Guest starring Bill Hader, Simon Helberg, Kevin Nealon and more.


“Boston” (July 30, 10pm ET/PT) Mary Dyer wages war with the Puritan establishment, two cunning thieves pull off a $ 500 million art heist, & the most notorious arsonist in New England history is revealed. Guest starring Winona Ryder, Michael Cera, Nick Offerman.
