Saturday Night Live’s Darrell Hammond, pop singer Debbie Gibson and Torchwood actor John Barrowman have all been scooped up by ABC for the network’s new reality competition, Sing Your Face Off. According to Entertainment Weekly, Hammon and Gibson will appear as judges on the six-week summer series while Barrowman will take on hosting duties of the show.
‘Sing Your Face Off’ will see the trio involved in a competition where celebrities attempt to master songs of famous music stars over the years. Slated to compete in the freshman series is ex-Skid Row rocker Sebastian Bach, comedian Jon Lovit , Toronto Raptors player Landry Fields, teenage Disney Channel actress-singer China Anne McClain and former soap star and ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ contestant, Lisa Rinna. Together the stars will go toe to toe for a chance to claim the winning title.
The six-episode ‘Sing Your Face Off’ comes by way of producers Endemol USA with Georgie Hurford-Jones (America’s Got Talent) set to serve as executive producer. An air date for the competition has yet to be announced. The network is rumored to be eying a summer premiere.
