Julia Louis-Dreyfus just got reelected for a third term.
HBO announced today that Louis-Dreyfus’s vice presidential comedy Veep has been renewed for a ten-episode third season that will air sometime in 2014. From creator Armando Iannucci (In the Loop, The Thick of It), Veep follows Vice President Selina Meyer and her team as they manage Selina’s public perception, navigate the cutthroat world of D.C. politics and attempt to infiltrate the President’s inner circle. Louis-Dreyfus took home the Emmy for Best Actress in a comedy for her role in 2012.
In addition to Louis-Dreyfus, Veep also stars Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh, Timothy C. Simons and Sufe Bradshaw.
