It’s hard to imagine that there are any nooks and crannies of the universe Doctor Who has yet to explore, but this Saturday’s (April 27th) episode will take viewers inside the one locale they’ve always been the most eager to see: the TARDIS. The event is so special that the BBC has released a video introduction for the episode from Matt Smith (which you can find embedded below).
“Journey to the Centre of The TARDIS” will find Clara trapped inside the malfunctioning TARDIS after a spaceship salvage team causes the systems to meltdown. The Doctor will have just 30 minutes to rescue his latest companion before the TARDIS self-destructs.
Doctor Who airs Saturdays at 8/7c on BBC America.
