Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
This was a busy and highly entertaining episode, albeit with its fair share of Mad Men-style tragedy and heartbreak as well.
First off, Dawn got her own storyline! In her first scenes away from anyone else at SCDP, we got a couple of glimpses of Dawn and her best friend, even while at the office, she got herself in trouble – only to end up with some new responsibilities by the end of the hour.
For Dawn, it wasn’t anything huge, storywise, but it was a start. And I really enjoyed her observations to her friend about what it’s like at SCDP, bringing up that this is an office where a partner hung himself and that, “It seems like New Year’s Eve there when they empty the garbage, there’s many bottles.”
