If nothing else, tonight’s episode of How I Met Your Mother was full of surprises. Of course, when it comes to throwing Barney Stinson a bachelor party, there almost has to be a few bombshells, right? Well, as far as Barney knew, the answer was “wrong.”
Indeed, it was a mite curious at the start of this week’s episode when Ted and Marshall had seemingly set up the worst bachelor party of all time: business hotel venue? Balloon contortionist clown? An Inconvenient Truth drinking game — okay, that last one actually sounds pretty fun, but definitely not up to Barney’s legendary standards. And that was all before Lily showed up with Ralph “The Wrong Karate Kid” Macchio, who as it turned out was a lot like Barney (much to Barney’s immense dissatisfaction). But the topper was a surprise appearance from Quinn, who Ted and Marshall had “unwittingly” hired as the party’s stripper.
