At this point, if Oliver Queen doesn’t wind up killing one of his enemies during their final showdown, it’s obvious that this enemy will return to plague Starling City again within a handful of episodes. So it was with “The Count,” who survived a massive overdose of his own Vertigo drug and came out of it only marginally more cra y than before. I didn’t really have high hopes for this episode, as Seth Gabel’s portrayal of the Count in “Vertigo” was way too hammy and overdone. But it turned out that Gabel’s character was a minor player in this episode. The end result was a pleasantly enjoyable new adventure for Ollie and friends.
